Benet, 44, proposed to his girlfriend Manuela Testolini in November after dating for three years.
A rep for the singer said to UsMagazine.com: 'They are engaged and very happy.'
It is claimed the pair, who live together in Los Angeles, have not yet set a date for their special day.
Benet split from Berry in 2003 after he cheated on her. He also has an 18-year-old daughter India from a previous marriage.
Testolini has also been married before to the singer Prince from 2001 until 2006.
